SKW/Eskimos, Inc. has now used Anchorage Protective Coatings on 5 or 6 of our remote projects and I can say that we feel that they are becoming one of the “premier” hanging, taping and painting subcontractors in the State of Alaska.
Their pricing is very competitive, they respond quickly to requests to mobilize to the job site, their crews are both professional and courteous, both on the job and after work in camp.
The quality of their work is excellent and they man up as necessary to complete their work within the project schedule. We feel the taping and painting of a large construction project can ‘”make or break” a project and Anchorage Protective Coating has always “made” the project, having little or no punch list items. Additionally, they complete their portion of the work without hitting the General Contractor with numerous change orders, unlike a number of other painting contractors out there.

Anchorage Protective Coatings, Inc. was recently retained to complete the required exterior painting work at our three-story, 101-room Hampton Inn Anchorage. The scope of work involved a two-coat application of a three-color paint scheme designed to refresh the overall appearance of the hotel. Anchorage Protective Coatings, Inc. effectively collaborated with the hotel management team to ensure minimal disruption to hotel guests, scheduled and sequenced their work in response to hotel occupancy and completed the work on schedule despite uncooperative weather. The painting crew with Anchorage Protective Coatings, Inc. was professional, courteous and diligent throughout the entire project while maintaining clean and safe working conditions. The final product resulted in a remarkable improvement to our building and far exceeded our expectations.
